Inside a Life
Every life holds a story, full of experiences, challenges, joys and growth. There are times in life when one needs additional support to deal with difficult experiences or reflect on areas of life that aren’t working well.
Counselling invites you to look beneath the surface into the spaces often held deep inside. It’s an opportunity to listen to what is coming up, and explore thoughts, emotions, memories, hopes, and dreams to better understand them. Having a safe, supportive space to open these doors to the inner self can bring in light and make room for growth.

At Inside a Life, we will gently explore the spaces within your life that shape how you think, feel, and relate to the world around you. We believe that every person carries the wisdom and strength inside to heal and grow. Wellness is not about perfection, but about connection. Connection to yourself, your experiences, and your inner and outer voice. We would be honoured to walk alongside you and help you uncover your inner strengths, creating space for transformation in your life.

Meet Tricia
I’ve always been deeply curious about the world, wanting to know how things work and why people feel and behave the way they do. This curiosity ultimately led me to counselling, though my path took a few meaningful detours along the way. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in public health, supporting individuals to reduce substance use, manage chronic disease risks, and build healthier habits. I also worked with people in crisis whose mental health struggles left them feeling isolated and without hope.
Through these experiences, I came to see that wellness is multidimensional, encompassing physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and relational health. This understanding shapes my integrative approach, blending therapeutic modalities such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Internal Family Systems with principles from attachment theory, nutrition, and complementary medicine. As a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional, I value treating the whole person and consider the various factors that influence one’s psychological state.
In my sessions, I bring curiosity, compassion, and non-judgment, creating a safe space where clients can connect with their inner wisdom, rediscover their strengths, and make meaningful shifts in their lives.
